Chart notes
FRIDAY'S AT SHADY settled toward the rear of the field early, continued to run towards the back through the backstretch, vied for the lead on the second turn while three wide between horses, was roused into the stretch and dug in for the win. PLAYING THROUGH assumed command of the early fractions while being pressured on the lead through the backstretch, continued saving ground on the turn when met by three other rivals contending for the lead, was asked for run into the stretch but was outfinished by the winner. WILL DANCER was rank along the first turn while traveling five wide, settled toward the back of the field for the backstretch run, was three wide on the turn, and made a late rally, just missing for second. GOBSMACK pressed the early pace from a two wide running position, was between horses two wide along the second turn, lost position coming into the stretch and had no late rally for the drive. GOOCH EXPRESS was fanned four wide on the first turn, remained wide through the backstretch while chasing the leaders, vied for the lead while four wide on the second turn, but could not muster a late rally and weakened in the stretch run. PERFECT COME BACK settled at the rear of the field through the early stages, saved ground on the turn two wide, and had no late rally for the stretch drive.
