Chart notes
HARMON settled midpack early, saved ground through the backstretch and second turn, dueled in the stretch with a scrum of horses and pushed through for the win late. AMERICAN FARMER was unhurried early, settled at the back of the field through the early going, three wide on the second turn, advanced position off of the turn, was outfinished by the winner but was second best. CONO set early fractions from a ground saving running position, was two wide into the backstretch and second turn, was confronted by INDIAN PEAK at the top of the stretch and had no late rally. INDIAN PEAK settled in the midflight early, was three wide on the first turn, advanced position along the backstretch, was four wide along the turn, led at the top of the stretch but weakened in the drive. SACRED RIDER pressed the early pace of CONO from a ground saving position, vied for the lead along the turn while saving ground, was headed at the top of the stretch and tired late. ENCODER chased the early pace, lost position along the backstretch, was two wide along the turn and flattened out late. JAMMERS JUSTICE settled toward the back of the field in the early stages, was four wide along the first turn, improved position along the backstretch, was five wide along the second turn and was empty in the drive.
