Chart notes

MALATHAAT chased the pace early along the four path, stayed around the four path into the lane, rallied down the lane, was under a long drive in the final sixteenths and just up at the wire. PASS THE CHAMPAGNE came in and hit the gate at the start, stalked the pace early along the inside, moved out off the rail in the far turn, split horses near the five sixteenths pole, cleared the field nearing the lane, remained a clear advantage down the lane but was caught in the final stages. WILL'S SECRET trailed the field early on along the outside, was in the five path entering the lane, rallied in the stretch, made a bid near the eighth pole but flattened out late in the drive. MOON SWAG tracked the pace early from the three path, was off the rail into the lane and faded late in the stretch run. CURLIN'S CATCH was bumped at the start, chased the pace early from the inside, was off the rail into the lane and empty down the lane. SIMPLY RAVISHING set the pace while off the rail, was on the inside into the lane and gave way readily in the stretch run.
