Chart notes
MISTY MOONLIGHT broke in full stride to set all the pace, shook clear on the turn and lasted under strong handling. HIGH CUPPER unhurried early, closed fast in the four path through the stretch and just missed. MA KETTLE prompted the early pace two wide between horses, dropped back, shifted out to the six path then came on again in deep stretch. MY PINK BABY BIRD pressed the pace along the inside into the turn, chased the winner until deep stretch and faded late . SWEET CHELSEA failed to menace. MAYBETHEDAY was no factor. EDGE OF HONOR had speed three wide through the turn then gave way.
