FREEDOM FLYER pressed the early fractions by RISEN LADY, was two wide along the backstretch and on the second turn while still pressing the pace, shifted out a path in the lane for clearer racing room, made a bold late bid and just missed while still an easy second. LIAM'S SECRET settled midpack through the early stages, lost position along the the backstretch while saving ground, and made a steady run in the stretch to get third. MISTY CAT was three wide on the first turn, settled toward the back of the field in the early stages, improved position along the backstretch while still running widest of the field, was three wide along the second turn, and weakened in the late stages. AUSTRIAN NAVY was unhurried early, saved ground through the backstretch and second turn, was outrun on the second turn and had no response in the stretch.
