Chart notes
PERFECTLY MAJESTIC saved ground around the first turn, continued up the backstretch off the pace on the inside, began a bid from the two path nearing the five sixteenths pole, gained ground on the outside in upper stretch and pulled clear in the final furlong. HALF OF MANHATTAN raced in the three path around the first turn, stalked the leaders up the backstretch, launched a bid from the three path approaching the three eighths pole, gained ground between horses, struck the front with a furlong to go and was caught late. ANGELINO saved ground around the first turn, settled in in the middle of the pack for the run up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the far turn, and improved position between horses down the lane but was outkicked to the wire. RIVER EVANGELIST hopped up leaving the gate, navigated the first turn from the three path, continued up the backstretch off the pace on the outside, raced in the two path around the far turn and gained some ground on the outside in late stretch. TORNADO BOY raced in the two path around the first turn, continued up the backstretch in the middle of the pack, angled in to save ground around the second turn and passed tiring horses in the stretch. COWBOYS DREAM raced in the two path around the first turn, dueled for the lead on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the far turn still in the two path and faded between horses in the final furlong. HIGH ON SUGAR raced in the two path around the first turn, continued up the backstretch at the back of the pack, navigated the far turn from the two path, made a mild bid in upper stretch and flattened out in the final furlong. ELUSIVE FORCE hit the gate leaving it, saved ground around the first turn, trailed the field on the inside up the backstretch and around the far turn and was empty from there. KEARNY COUNTY angled in to race in the two path around the first turn, trailed the field up the backstretch on the outside, continued around the far turn at the back of the pack in the two path and offered no bid. PENALTY SHOT led the field while saving ground around the first turn, dueled for the lead on the inside through the next half mile, began to drop back approaching the furlong pole and continued to tire from there.
