Chart notes
EMERALD FOREST pressed the pace, saved ground, drove clear down the stretch and finished well. FRENCH AVIATOR raced within contention, came around the turn three wide, proved no match for the winner, but got up for second. BORDEAUX RED raced in the middle of the field, came around the turn wide, rallied and was outfinished for second. GOLD PUNCH sprinted to the front, drove clear and weakened. CRIMSON STORM lacked early speed, moved up and finished evenly. CANDY CURL void of early speed, came around the turn wide, moved up, but was no factor. GIMMEASOUND broke a step slow and was never a threat. POWERSHOT broke out, raced near the middle of the field and faded. OLE STUD MUFFIN raced within striking distance and stopped.
