Chart notes
LANGS DAY lacked early speed, moved up on the inside down the backside, angled out around the second turn, made a wide rally and got up in time. BOYFRIEND MATERIAL raced near the back in the beginning, had an outside trip, took command down the home stretch, but couldn't hold off the winner late. COMPETITIVE IDEA raced within contention, eased back, made a late bid, proved no match for the top two, but got by TREVILION for third. TREVILION went to the front, drove clear, saved ground and weakened. SPEEDY FELLAR pressed the early pace and faded down the home stretch, while racing on the rail. TOP DRAW raced near the middle of the pack and put forth an even effort. JOHNNYSJOURNEY always raced near the back and showed little. MAJESTIC SIGN vied for the early lead, saved ground and dropped back.
