Chart notes
JULIARD HONOR dueled for the early lead from the inside with THELMA AND ANNIE (IRE), was taken on by FLAT OUT LARCENY into the stretch, vied with that rival, opened a clear margin with a sixteenth to run and held safely to the wire. FLAT OUT LARCENY hopped at the start then was reserved just off the leaders early, moved three-wide through the turn, offered a bid nearing the three-sixteenths pole, vied with the winner but could not match strides with that foe in the drive. QUICK CALISIA lacked early speed, raced five-wide through the turn and finished evenly late. MY CITY GIRL was forwardly placed early, moved four-wide through the turn and gave way in the drive. JIM'S ANGEL was void of early foot, raced four-wide through the turn and was not a factor. THELMA AND ANNIE (IRE) broke in stride then dueled with the winner while racing three-wide and weakened after going a half.
