Chart notes
CHARGING LION saved ground stalking the pace, found room along the inner rail to bid for the lead in upper stretch and narrowly prevailed while drifting out the final furlong. HAYNE'S FEVER set the pace along the inner rail, drifted to the two path turning for home, dueled outside the winner through the stretch, was floated out and just missed. DASHING LOU chased the pace outside HAYNE'S FEVER, was three deep when challenging for the lead turning for home and weakened in the drive. WHIRLIN CURLIN lacked speed, hugged the inner rail on the far turn and failed to rally. KING MAURO , rank when shuffled back leaving the starting gate, circled the far turn, was five deep in upper stretch and weakened. SOUTHSIDE WARRIOR , three wide both turns, gave way. DOTHAT DANCE was outrun.
