Chart notes
EXPLOSIVE was away alertly, stalked the early pace while two wide through the backstretch and turn, took command at the eighth pole and kicked clear in the end. TERRY'S BOY was unhurried early, gained position along the turn while three wide, continued to advance coming into the stretch and made a late rally for second though was not challenging the winner. DEISE DELIGHT (IRE) was allowed to settle early, moved up while three wide along the turn, ran evenly in the stretch while on his left lead and was outfinished late. ELCONDOR set the early fractions while saving ground, continued to save ground through the turn, was confronted by the winner at the eighth pole and weakened late. BRADLEY'S COWBOY stalked the early pace from a ground saving running position, lost position on the turn while still on the fence, was outrun off of the turn and had no late rally. VOICE OF VICTORY chased the early pace through the backstretch, was outrun onto the turn while three wide and had no late response in the stretch.
