Chart notes
THREE BOPS chased the pace and took the lead three wide midway on the turn, dug in under all out handling through the lane and held on. GOLD AND STRIKE chased toward the outside, came through the turn in the five path, dug in at the head of the lane to take second nearing the sixteenth pole and was gaining on the winner. FIRST LADY MAGGIE chased inside, raced near the rail on the turn, came along for third later yards then flattened nearing the wire. ZIRCON ZLOTY set a pressured pace through the backstretch, was caught at the rail midway on the turn then weakened. DISTORTED SPLENDOR chased, ran near the rail on the turn and passed a rival later yards. TEL AVIV pressured the pace, dropped back toward the top of the stretch, angled to the four path and weakened.
