MEET JOE pressed the early pace, went five wide into the turn, took control at the eighth pole and held for the win. HERZEN was void of speed, raced eight wide through the turn, was gaining late and finished second best. MR. TRIPLEDOUBLE tracked the early pace, advanced eight wide through the turn, was empty late and held for third. SIR LAUGHALOT set a pressured early pace, went three wide into the turn and weakened. HENNESSY'S SQUIRT was up close early, raced four wide and faded. EL DORADO STORM was unhurried early, raced between rivals and offered no rally. L D' RADO GOLDRUSH was allowed to settle early, raced off the rail and never fired.
