Chart notes
YOU CANT CATCH HER stalked off the rail the first turn then took the lead past the half mile pole and raced in hand from that point, came under pressure past the five sixteenths, dueled clear nearing the head of the lane and was steadily encouraged down the lane. NORTHERN HEAT rounded the opening turn about the four path and raced outside into the backstretch, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, came through the far turn still about the four path, dug in to take second mid-stretch and was gaining on the winner. TOMA raced in the three path the first turn and rated close into the backstretch, challenged toward the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn at a close disadvantage, drifted toward the head of the lane and relented second mid-stretch. SO RED THE ROSE saved early ground then bid nearing the three eighths pole, raced off the rail on the far turn then flattened stride. DUDES PICK rated off the early pace in the two and three paths then bid nearing the five sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn about the five path and showed little further. TAR HEEL PALACE set the early pace inside, was caught and gave chase past the half mile pole then faded toward the five sixteenths.
