Chart notes
WAR TOCSIN was bumped at the start, raced off the pace inside, moved up on the rail around the turn, rallied on the rail entering the stretch, responded when set down at the furlong marker and finished willingly to win clear. PNUTBUTTER SPECIAL showed good early speed outside, set the pace, raced off the inside turning for home, dug in gamely in midstretch and came up second best. FINAL SHOT stalked the pace, raced three wide on the turn, rallied outside, dug in gamely and was outkicked. BRANCO MARIA raced off the rail, off the pace, moved up in the stretch and closed belatedly outside. HIGH VELOCITY chased close up on the rail, bid two wide on the turn and weakened. BRILLIANT CHASE stumbled at the start and was bumped, raced three wide off the pace, came four wide into the lane and tired.
