SHAMELESS RISK stalked two deep then challenged nearing the three eighths pole, contested at a close disadvantage through the far turn, dug in from the head of the lane and took second from the fading ROCKET APPEAL in the final strides, while the latter, was bumped leaving the gate then closed to the lead past the thirteen sixteenths pole, angled to the rail to rate the pace and came under pressure nearing the three eighths pole, contested the advantage nearest the rail on the far turn, drew clear into the stretch but was caught flattening stride mid-stretch. CAPE LOOKOUT came away awkwardly and made light contact with Rocket Appeal, rounded the first turn about the five path and raced outside into the backstretch, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, raced at the rail on the far turn and finished evenly. K W CAPTAIN FLINT raced off the pace in the three and four paths the first turn, started a bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, ran near the rail on the far turn and finished evenly. SOUTHERN SAVIOUR raced well off the pace in the three and four paths the first turn then showed little response down the backstretch. CAUSE FOR SURPRISE settled off the early pace about the three path, bid past the three eighths pole then faded into the far turn. KILLA DEE saved early ground, bid approaching the three eighths pole but weakened at the rail nearing the far turn. BIG BOOTS raced outside into the backstretch and showed little response.
