Chart notes
SOUND OFF saved ground well off the pace the first turn then eased out into the backstretch, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, took aim six wide toward the head of the lane, dug in widest through the stretch and took over later yards. MARTIN MAN saved ground well off the early pace, bid approaching the three eighths pole and raced in range of the lead five wide approaching the top of the stretch, then dug in through the lane to take second inside the sixteenth pole. HOBE SOUND rounded the opening turn about the three path, bid leaving the three eighths pole and took aim in the four path approaching the top of the stretch, dug in a close factor but was outfinished through later yards. HOLY SAINT saved ground off the pace, bid toward the three eighths pole and took aim at the rail approaching the top of the lane, dueled to a slim brief lead leaving the eighth pole, but flattened stride later yards. NO REGRETS saved ground off the pace, bid approaching the three eighths pole but lost momentum on the heels of rivals on the far turn, angled four wide into the stretch then flattened stride. BRIAN'S AVENUE stalked the pace two deep then challenged toward the three eighths pole, dueled to a slim lead nearing the quarter pole, contested the edge on the far turn but was caught past the eighth pole and weakened the final sixteenth. PROTA rated a slim lead inside, came under pressure nearing the three eighths pole and was caught toward the quarter, continued at a close disadvantage nearest the rail on the far turn then weakened the final sixteenth. THE QUANTICO KID rounded the first two turns about the four path and raced outside into the backstretch, bid nearing the three eighths, but weakened in the four path of the far turn.
