Chart notes
NACHO PAPA stalked the pace two wide, took command near the quarter pole and edged clear under a drive. KAREN'S COVE raced two wide in midpack and rallied for the place. ROYAL SQUEEZE broke inwardly and bumped MOZO BELLO at the start, rushed up inside to set a clear pace along the rail, was collared near the quarter pole, drifted out under left-handed urging in midstretch then straightened out under right-handed pressure and stayed on to hold third. BENEFACTOR was perched three wide, bid nearing the lane then flattened out. CHARLIE THE GREEK failed to menace while racing three wide. ESPRESSO CALIENTE was in tight at the start, raced four wide and never threatened. MOZO BELLO was bumped at the start, saved ground and made little impact. PEPPI THE HUNTER was outrun while racing two wide. TOTONO had brief speed inside and was vanned off.
