Chart notes
BENNY CHANG broke in to make sharp contact with Willie The Whale then hustled to the lead approaching the seven sixteenths pole and set a pressured pace, inched clear midway on the turn and was steadily handled through the lane. TWOBITSARIDE chased, rounded the turn four wide then closed to late stretch and dueled for second later yards. WILLIE THE WHALE was bumped inward and into Windsor Calling leaving the gate then picked up the chase inside, raced near the rail on the turn then outfinished for second the final yards. PAGAN SMART pressured the pace and raced close in the three path of the turn, then flattened the final furlong. ADIOS SEE YA broke awkwardly then picked up the chase toward the inside, eased out leaving the turn and ran evenly down the lane. TRUE HEIR was not a factor. WINDSOR CALLING was bumped off stride at the start, picked up the chase inside and raced at the rail on the turn, then weakened the final sixteenth.
