Chart notes
ROYAL BLUE BOY prompted the early pace five wide, surged two wide to make the lead entering the turn, set the balance of the pace and won under a hand ride. MACHISMO had speed from the start two wide, was in tight near the seven sixteenths pole, shifted out then dug in determinedly through the stretch and finished clear for second MORE THAN GOOD with the second flight, went evenly. KHALFANI battled for the lead three wide then along the inside into the stretch and weakened late. CUMBER had speed into the turn then faded. HOVER rushed to contention along the rail, checked repeatedly while lacking room and dropped back on the turn. KITCHI trailed.
