Chart notes
SPEED LANE chased the pace early along the inside, stayed on the inside entering the lane, shot outward near the three sixteenths pole then altered out widest near the eighth pole under a rally and drove past the leaders three wide in the final stages. SPEIGHTSTOWN SHIRL chased the pace early on, was in the three path into the lane, made a bid down the lane, edged past the leader late while between horses and was caught in the final stages. CRUZ BAY chased the pace early on, raced four wide along the far turn, made a bid nearing the lane, was in the three path into the lane, edged clear near the sixteenth pole but yielded in the late stages. MUMMY DEAREST raced back early on, was in the four path into the lane, rallied in the stretch with some late gain. FLATTER ME SILLY trailed the field early on, was in the five path into the lane with a belated gain in the stretch run. HIGH FAIR tracked the pace early from the inside, was off the rail into the lane and weakened late in the stretch drive. CHIPSHIRE set the pace early while two wide along the first turn, was on the inside into the lane and gave way down the lane. SCARLETT LACE was through after a half.
