Chart notes
KALU set a pressured pace slightly off the rail, dug in through the stretch and fended off COMBINATION for a hard-fought decision. COMBINATION pressed the pace three to four wide, stayed on his left lead through the lane and was outfinished. GAME BOY BENNY was bumped between horses at the start, bumped repeatedly with ONE FAST coming away from the gate, raced two to three wide and lacked the needed rally while clear of the rest. WHYRUAWESOME bumped with GAME BOY BENNY at the start, and faded near the inside before reaching the stretch. ONE FAST hit the left side of the gate and bumped with GAME BOY BENNY at the break, bumped repeatedly with the latter through the ensuing strides until being steadied back, and never reached contention. NORTHERN pressed the early pace, was finished before completing a half-mile, and was vanned off after the finish.
