Chart notes
SWIRRLIE SHIRLIE stalked the pace while along the rail, eased outside in upper stretch, closed determinedly and got up approaching the wire. NINE MARTINIS bumped HETTY G. when bearing out leaving the starting gate, prompted the pace two wide, gained the lead in upper stretch, opened a clear advantage in mid stretch and gave way grudgingly. HAD THE NOTION set a pressured pace along the inner rail and weakened the final furlong. GRACE ISABELLA stalked the pace while three deep around the turn and weakened through the stretch. HETTY G. , bumped leaving the starting gate, saved ground on the turn and failed to rally. MARY'S JEWEL , fractious in the starting gate, was not a factor and raced wide on the turn. ODD GAL was outrun.
