JOURNEY CAKE dueled two wide on the backstretch, entered turn two wide, cleared to rail with three sixteenths to go, entered stretch clear, and held safely under steady urging. DOHENY BEACH tracked leaders along the inside throughout, launched bid along the rail entering the stretch and kept on gaining to the wire a clear second best. JAY BOY tracked leaders three wide on the backstretch, continued three wide on the turn and entered stretch widest, kept to task in the lane and held show. GEOCAS STREET bumped at the start, dueled with rival along the inside, entered turn along the rail, rival cleared him on the turn and briefly steadied, entered stretch in range and gave way final sixteenth. SEVENTH WAVE bumped at the start, tracked leaders in the second flight in between, entered turn two wide, lacked room entering the stretch and had to alter in upper stretch, and flattened out in the final sixteenth. SILVER MOMENT off slow, tracked leaders four wide on the backstretch, continued four wide on the turn and came up empty in the stretch.
