Chart notes
SPUNKY KITTEN saved ground through the opening half mile, angled four wide going up the backstretch to challenge outside SUPERSERG nearing the lane, briefly went clear midstretch then just held as CALLME MR MISTER closed hard late. CALLME MR MISTER saved ground back off the early pace, moved three wide in the far turn then swung out in the lane and closed well to just miss. SUPERSERG stalked the early leader three or four wide bid and move clear in the far turn then had little left on entering the lane. LISBON moved up three and four wide while not a threat. RANCHO BARGO chased the early leader three wide and tired. SADDLE IN COMMANDO moved to a clear lead racing about the two or three path, made the running to midway of the backstretch then gave way through the far turn.
