Chart notes
MR MATUSCHEK saved ground well off the pace, went two wide around the far turn, swung out in upper stretch, surged outside and was up in deep stretch. MR. TIP pressed the pace two wide, bid nearing the quarter pole, ground down the pacesetter, took the lead in deep stretch but was nailed by the winner. LIGHT FURY set a rated pace along the rail and led to deep stretch. DIGITAL FOOTPRINT stumbled at the start, saved ground off the pace, tipped out in midstretch, continued on the left lead and rallied between rivals. AMERICAN NINJA saved ground in midpack, angled three wide in upper stretch and was one-paced through the lane. CHARLIECANDO was in range three wide and lacked a closing bid. ACCESSIBLE hit the starting gate, raced three wide around the turns, had a middle move then faded. SEMPER FI failed to menace while racing two wide. THE RIDER OF SEMPER FI CLAIMED FOUL AGIANST AMERICAN NINJA FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE IN UPPER STRETCH BUT THE STEWARDS FOUND NO REASON TO ALTER THE ORIGINAL ORDER OF FINISH.
