Chart notes
REGAL RUN stalked the early pace four wide, made a three wide move on the turn to go clear past the quarter pole, then drew off smartly in the stretch to prove much the best under mild left handed encouragement. HAWK TAIL was rated early on the inside, then was roused by the five sixteenths pole, eased off the rail leaving the quarter pole, was along for the place while no match for the winner. LONESTAR CHROME hopped at the start, then raced five to six wide past the quarter pole, then was along for the show award late. DOWNTOWN BROWN chased the early pace three wide, then was roused around the five sixteenths pole to keep HAWK TAIL down on the inside then was empty in the final furlong. SUPER INTENSE dueled for the lead on the inside then weakened. CAPTAIN NOBLE failed to menace. IT'S PERSONAL UN was not a factor. KITE TROUBLE was not a threat. LA' HOPPER dueled for the early lead two wide then stopped.
