QUICK CALISIA pressed the pace from the three path them made a move on the turn to take command and battled HALE'S ANGEL in the stretch drive and drew clear while driving. HALE'S ANGEL vied for the lead from the three path then challenged QUICK CALISIA in the stretch drive but gave way. SAVE THE DAY was allowed to settle towards the back and then made a late rally in the stretch to be up for show. STAUNCH ELABORATOR chased the leaders but failed to menace. FLAT QUICK was unhurried early and was never a factor. QUEEN LANA was rushed to contention then led for the first two calls and weakened in the turn. WAY TOO CUTE showed little.
