Chart notes
HEADEDTOTHESTARS was forwardly placed on the inside then angled out at the head of the stretch and drew clear late. CRAFTY HEAT set the pace from the inside and weakened in the stretch drive. AWESOME THUNDER was within striking distance from the two path and improved position late. DELVIN TO IT was unhurried early from the five path then steadily advanced to angle in at the head of the stretch to just miss the show. CHEAP TRICKS raced in the middle of the pack from the three path but was not a threat. SLICK RAY settled to the back of the field from the four path but was not a factor. MINCO dueled for the lead from the two path and gave way after a half.
