Chart notes
GANDHI'S CASTLE came away sharply and angled to the inside to rate the pace, came under pressure nearing the quarter pole, raced at the rail on the turn and was steadily handled in the stretch. BASKET GIRL gave chase and raced close off the rail on the turn, then proved no match in the lane. WINDSOR'S CHAMPION gave chase inside, raced at the rail on the turn and was outfinished in the stretch duel for second. ROCKIN ANNA ROLLIN broke outward to make contact with One Smart Cookie then chased through the backstretch, rounded the turn about the three path and ran evenly in the lane. AT THE HALF chased through the backstretch, raced in the three path of the turn and finished evenly. ONE SMART COOKIE was bumped at the break, picked up the chase outside, rounded the turn about the five path and showed little further. BAYOU BOUGIE chased then faded near the rail on the turn. SO RED THE ROSE ducked in and was checked leaving the gate then saved ground.
