Chart notes
SHADES OF GLORY chased the leaders from the three path then made a late rally from the outside to prevail late in the drive. FLAT ROCK stalked the pace from the two path and gained ground in the stretch drive to run down leaders to be second best. TROMPO set the pace from the two path and was caught in the last sixteenth. ZAMBEZI FEVER pressed the pace from the inside and gave way in the stretch drive. BUD MINISTER failed to menace. GRUFFANDTOUGH saved ground on the inside but was never a threat. BENT TO WIN ran a wide trip and was not a factor.
