Chart notes
TAKE ME FOR A SPIN was sent to the front and set the all the pace, saved ground along the turn, was roused into the stretch and kicked clear in the end. HIT THE SEAM chased the early pace, was three wide between horses along the turn, improved position nearing the eighth pole but could not continue that bid and finished evenly in the stretch run. CANNONBALL COMIN was allowed to settle early, saved ground through the turn and into the stretch and made a mild rally late to get third. DICTION was unhurried early, was two wide along the turn, and finished evenly in the stretch drive. HANDSOME GARY hopped at the start, settled in the middle of the pack, came four wide along the turn while improving position, but could not continue that run and had no rally in the stretch. ELUSIVE LOVE pressed the early pace, was two wide between horses on the turn while still close up but lost position into the stretch and gave out in the drive.
