Chart notes
EMPIRE OF GOLD broke on top, set or forced the pace along the inside, showed the way into the lane, shook clear when straightened for home, kept to task in maintaining a comfortable advantage to the wire. MR. JAGERMEISTER broke with winner, narrowly showed the way up the backstretch outside that rival, dueled until late turn, gave way in the drive. SHARE THE UPSIDE chased the dueling leader for five furlongs while in the three path, had little left late. ROYAL DAAHER lacked speed off the inside, came four wide out of the turn, staged a mild rally to finish best of the others. ENGAGE last away, saved ground through the turn, improved while remaining inside into and through upper stretch, moved out slightly inside the furlong marker, finished willingly to be closing the gap on the winner late.
