COLONEL LIAM raced two wide along the first turn, stalked the early pace, was inside along the far turn, bumped CROSS BORDER near the five sixteenths pole on the way by, was in the three path into the lane, made a bid in the stretch, was under a long drive in the final stages from between horses and prevailed at the wire while finishing on even terms. DOMESTIC SPENDING (GB) raced back early on, raced three wide along the first turn, was in the three path into the lane, rallied down the lane, altered out three wide, had a late surge and was just up while finishing on even terms. SMOOTH LIKE STRAIT set the pace from the outset, was off the rail into the lane, drifted out down the lane, was under a long drive when the saddle slipped and gave in during the final stages. COUNT AGAIN was unhurried early on, raced off the rail into the lane, rallied down the lane and was gaining in the late stages. DIGITAL AGE (IRE) chased the pace early, was off the rail into the lane, made a bid in the stretch but flattened out late in the drive.
