Chart notes
SIDE EFFECT (GB) set the fractions, saved ground through the second turn, was roused into the stretch and kicked clear in the end. MULHIMA (IRE) stalked the early pace of SIDE EFFECT (GB), was two wide while close up on the second turn, was outkicked by the winner but was second best. ESCAPE THE CITY (GB) hesitated at the start, settled toward the rear of the field, saved ground through the second turn, slipped onto the rail for the drive but was outfinished by the top two. REV REE had no speed early, was three wide on the second turn, improved position into the stretch but could not go on with that bid and tired in the drive. LADY PHYLLIS settled in the middle of the pack, was three wide outside of rivals on the second turn, and weakened in the stretch run. HURLEY chased the early pace, was two wide on the second turn, lost position off of the second turn and weakened in the stretch drive. The half mile split was 49.85.
