Chart notes
COPPER FIDDLE stalked the top pair while racing three deep down the backstretch, took command around the far turn and held a clear margin under steady handling. SINGINGINTHEWIND dropped back early on, moved up five wide nearing the three sixteenths pole, finished well late and was second best. CHARMING BULLET was unhurried in the early stages, moved up four wide at the eighth pole but had not enough late. DREAM HALO threw his head at the break, raced three deep in the lane and had no response. READY REDDING tracked the leader while racing two wide and tired. HOLY SPIRIT was slow early on and failed to respond. DOOLIN dropped back early on, raced four deep past the eighth pole and never was a serious threat. GRAND ATLANTIC set all the pace from the inside and stopped.
