Chart notes
COBBLE HILL was bumped at the start, raced off the pace, advanced inside on the turn, angled out entering the stretch, rallied, closed well in deep stretch and was up late for the win. FROST'S SONG showed good speed outside, bid on the turn, dueled, took over, drew clear, dug in gamely in the final furlong and yielded late. ROYAL COUP raced off the pace, moved up inside on the turn and rallied mildly inside for third. LAWYER ROY chased between rivals early, came wide into the lane, lacked a winning bid and bested the others. JAMES CIRO chased inside, lacked a winning bid, came wide and finished evenly. EL FENOMENO set the pace on the inside, dueled past the quarter pole and tired. LITTLE VINNIE chased three wide and faded. RAGGY ROCKS chased outside and faded. STINK MAN was bumped at the start, raced two wide off the pace and was outrun. FRAY chased outside early, appeared to lose his action, was pulled up at the half mile marker and walked off. After a Stewards' Inquiry, the race was declared official.
