Chart notes
PAWN vied for the lead three wide through the turn, shook clear into the lane, widened quickly to the eighth pole then geared down late while comfortably in front. FOUND MY MAN vied for the lead from between rivals through the turn, was no match for the winner but kept on to gain the distant place spot. SHARP JUSTICE was checked along the rail approaching the half-mile pole, chased the three rival duel through the turn while in the two to three path, angled into the five or six path into the lane then moved up for the show spot. ZIGGY'S STORM vied for the lead with two others through the turn while along the inside, continued as a contender into the lane then gave way. STORMY'S HERO was four wide into the turn while close to the pace, continued well off the inside through the turn and was empty turning into the lane. AN INQUIRY CONCERNING THE RUNNING OF THE RACE DOWN THE BACKSTRETCH RESULTED IN NO CHANGE IN ORDER.
