LOVE AND LEMONS advanced to challenge MISS BILLIE K for the lead leaving the first turn, vied for the top spot racing outside of rival through the backstretch, began to edge away from rival then quickly came under pressure from FIANNA HILLS, dug in gamely along the inside though the lane, refused to let rival by then just lasted. FIANNA HILLS got bumped at the start then rated in range along the outside through early stages, launched a three wide bid near the five-sixteenths pole, dueled for the lead with LOVE AND LEMONS in the stretch run, battled on gamely under firm pressure and just missed. WENEEDTOTALK raced in tracking through the backstretch, launched a three wide bid on the final turn then sustained a steady bid through the lane for a share. TOODALOO TO YOU raced in the second flight near the inside going by the half mile marker, angled out and put to a drive turning for home but lacked the needed response for impact. MISS BILLIE K dueled for the lead racing inside of eventual winner through the backstretch then came up tired mid-way around the far turn.
