Chart notes
EL CHIHUAS set all the pace while racing just off the inside and held gamely to prove best under strong encouragement. JUSTINS OMEN raced up close throughout, moved up four wide through the stretch and finished second best. OKLAHOMA LINE was allowed to settle early on, raced three wide past the eighth pole and showed good late interest. GOSPEL JOHN stalked the early pace, raced five wide at the three sixteenths pole and had no late response. JENNA'S GUN RUNNER dropped back early on, raced six wide nearing the eighth pole and had not enough. POPPY'S OATS was slow early, moved up six wide into the upper stretch and never was a serious threat. DENS D ORO was away slowly, rushed to contention between horses and was empty in the drive.
