Chart notes
CHOSEN MOON was allowed to settle in the early stages, improved position along the second turn while two wide, continued with that bid into the stretch and found one more gear in the drive to kick clear in the end. LUCK IS MY NAME chased the early pace, dueled for position along the backstretch and second turn, was four wide outside of horses on the second turn, took the lead entering the stretch but was outfinished by the winner in the final stages, while holding for second. BIG CITY BANE had no speed early, was four wide on the second turn while improving position but did not go on with that run and finished evenly in the stretch, while holding on to third. ROBBER BARON chased the early pace, was three wide along the second turn while still close up, was tiring in the drive and just missed for third. HULA KING set the pace for the first call, then settled off pace for the backstretch run, lost position along the turn, steadied between horses at the 3/8 pole, and had no rally in the stretch run. SECOND BOLD had his turned at the start, was four wide on the first turn, then was hustled to take command of the pace through the second turn, was two wide on the turn, lost position into the stretch and had no late rally.
