Chart notes
KEVIN WITTE settled inside, rallied into the stretch, angled out and quickly ran clear through deep stretch. A MAIZE ZING RIP opened a clear lead from the outside midway on the backstretch, angled to the rail, remained clear past midstretch but couldn't last. OBROTHER ITSYLVIA stayed well out into the track while unhurried then finished willingly outside. BRIDOLOGIST lagged inside and found best stride too late. SOMERSET BAY chased the pace two wide into the turn then stopped in the lane. STONE SCULPTOR was outrun.
