Chart notes
BLUEWATER CAT was allowed to settle out of the gate then secured inside position around the first turn, steadily edged up closer along the inside through the backstretch then tipped out a path and launched a two wide bid entering the far turn, cleared command entering the top of the lane then stayed sharp under steady pressure and finished going away. HUMPHREY was forwardly placed on the first turn then settled off the early pace, launched a three wide bid near the five-sixteenths pole, hustled along four wide into the stretch run and steadily gained ground. CHAMBLISS grabbled the lead shortly after the start and raced on top under pressure around the first turn, edged away and cleared on top mid-way down the backstretch, continued on top along the rail on the far turn then got headed for the lead by eventual winner top of the lane and weakened to show. PORT HUNTER raced in tracking mode positioned in range of the early leader, lodged a three wide bid around the far turn, remained a threat upper stretch then flattened out. MISS YOU JO was forwardly placed in early stages then came up empty upon entering the far turn. MAN BEHIND THE BAR got in a bit tight and steadied slightly on the first turn then raced off the pace and had no response.
