FIRE WHEN READY raced in mid pack, went five wide into the second turn, took control at the quarter pole, opened up drifted in and edged clear. BEAN AND THE BUG was reserved early, raced along the inside into the home turn, angled out in early stretch, was no match late and finished second best. OFFENSIVE was outrun early, advanced eight wide through the second turn and was along for third.
