Chart notes
RIVER ROSE sat just off of the early pace, was three wide while improving position along the second turn, wore down DARNQUICK inside of the eighth pole and dug in to prevail. MANILA MISCHIEF had no speed early, was four wide along the second turn while still toward the back, came four wide off the turn, made a late bid in the stretch to pressure the winner but could not reel him in, while besting the rest. DARNQUICK set the pace through the second turn, was two wide on the turn, was confronted by RIVER ROSE nearing the eighth pole, gave up the lead and was outfinished in the drive, while holding for third. FUENTE (GB) was rank along the first turn, saved ground through the backstretch and on the second turn, attempted a bid by swinging off of the rail but could not go on with that run and tired in the stretch. COOLCROSS stalked the early pace, was two wide on the second turn while losing position and tired in the stretch drive.
