Chart notes
RONALD DALE set all the pace from the inside and held gamely in the drive to prevail under all out pressure. JUST FRED stalked the early pace, raced along the inside throughout and finished well late to be second best. ON THE BRIDGE was slow early on, raced three deep through the lane and had no final winning bid. NOW MIND YOU stalked early on, raced five wide at the eighth pole and had no late rally. CHUKKA saved ground and failed to have a response. HUMOR'S REWARD was allowed to settle in the early stages, raced five wide into the upper stretch and never was a factor. SHIPMAN'S SONG pressed the early leader and tired readily in the drive while racing four wide.
