Chart notes
HOPPED UP stalked the two rival duel through the turn while in the three path, bid three wide into the lane, gained the lead outside the eighth pole, was put under pressure by the runner-up to the sixteenth pole then edged clear. WING AND WHEEL settled off the pace while in the three to the four path, bid four wide into the lane, loomed a serious threat with an eighth to go but could not keep up with the top one while finishing clear for the place spot. HERE'S CARLOS trailed through the turn while in the two or three path, bid four wide into the lane, angled in while gaining but could not threaten the top two while finishing along the rail. GAMERA vied for the lead two wide through the turn then gave way after entering the lane. ARTEGON vied for the lead along the inside into the lane then faltered. DEACON raced close up early while along the rail and faded after entering the turn.
