Chart notes
MALIBU MO showed good early speed while racing just off the inside and finished well in the stretch drive to be well clear under steady handling. ARTIC EXPRESS pressed the pace along the inside and was no match for the winner in the drive. YOUNG SKYWALKER stalked the early pace, raced four wide at the three sixteenths pole and had no final winning bid;. BUGGER RED was allowed to settle towards the back of the pack early, saved ground and had no rally. WRITTEN PERMISSION stalked the pace, raced three deep and weakened in the drive. SMALL TOWN BIG MAN dropped back early and failed to respond.
