Chart notes
FIRE DOWN BELOW showed good early speed to set all the pace along the inside and was well clear in the stretch and under steady handling. TORAZO was allowed to settle early, raced three deep in the lane and was no match for the winner. BRONX SANDMAN stalked the pace from the inside, raced four wide past the eighth pole and had not enough in the drive. WE B JAMMIN pressed the pace from the inside and tired. POCOPSON STATION was slow early on, raced towards the inside through the stretch and never threatened. DENNIS' DIAMOND was bumped at the break, raced five wide into the upper stretch and tired.
