COSMO settled in the midflight, gained position along the second turn while tracking the pace three wide, collared THATSABADBOY nearing the eighth pole and drew clear in the end. SKY DINSKI was unhurried early, gained position along the second turn while three wide behind horses and rallied to get second in the stretch though was not catching the winner. THATSABADBOY settled in the middle of the field, took over the lead on the second turn while two wide, was confronted by the winner nearing the furlong marker and was outfinished by the top two, though was a clear third. SAL MAGLIE had no speed early, was four wide on the second turn while still toward the rear, and had no rally in the stretch run. AL MILLON BOB stalked the pace through the backstretch, was outrun on the second turn while traveling on the rail and weakened in the stretch run. VOICE OF VICTORY stumbled at the start, then was hustled to set fractions through the second turn, was tiring on the second turn and gave out in the stretch run.
